Week 8

I do not want a yes or no answer here. You need to explain what you think and why.

  1. No not really. Well because it is pretty much asking if you can use it. So it isn't really stealing.

  2. yes because you are asking if you can steal it but its not really stealing so no

  3. For my opinion NO it will not be stealing, because you have the permission to steal the owner’s pen, and also the owner wanted you to steal the pen. However if you don’t ask the owner that would be a 100% stealing, and if the owner said yes by accident our if the owner was just kidding that would still be stealing. So my answer is a NO.

  4. No, not at all. It isn't stealing because you are ASKING if you can steal it and if you change the word steal to borrow or use, you would be asking to borrow or use it. But you are ASKING to steal it, so you aren't stealing it.

  5. No in my opinion I don't think it's stealing because you have been told you can take it from the person who owns it and if they don't want you to take it they would of just said no.But if they were thinking you just wanted to borrow the pen you should give it back.Because I ask if I can steal a pencil but they know i'm just going to borrow it. You should clarify that you're not giveing it back.So in conclusion I don't think it is stealing.

  6. on because you said yes but if you said no that's stealing

  7. NO! Because the person who said yes was letting the person that asked to take it
and stealing is when you take something that's not yours on purpose without asking but if you said no and they took it that would be stealing.

  8. No because you the owner who said yes let you used the pen which means that it's borrowing not stealing. Also stealing means to take something without permission and in this case you asked if you could use it which means you're borrowing not stealing. But when someone didn't give you permission to use it then it is stealing. Again if you didn't give it back it could be stealing but there is a small chance that you would forget. Well actually there is a lot of chance you would forget. Anyway my real official opinion is NO but of course it can sort of be stealing when you don't give it back...

  9. no way because the owner of the pen said yes so it isn't stealing and if he just took it without asking or them saying no it would be stealing.

  10. No because if you ask if you can use it, it's not really stealing, it's borrowing. Since you asked, they know about it, and stealing is taking something without asking, or without the other person knowing. So if someone takes something without permission, then it's stealing, but otherwise it's not. Like Ysbelle said, though, if you don't give it back then it could be stealing. But you could also forget to give it back, which would be an accident, not stealing. I think overall it's not stealing, just borrowing, as you've asked. If you ask, it's not stealing, is it?

  11. It is still stealing because you said 'and you steal it' but it isn't wrong. You could just ask to borrow it and everything would be black and white.
